2.1 What AQX is
AQX is a software tool that helps you:
- record and review your own trades in a journal;
- see analytics and statistics calculated from your own data; and
- set alerts based on rules that you define.
2.2 What AQX is not
AQX is not, and does not act as:
- a broker, dealer, or market maker;
- an exchange or trading platform;
- a crypto-asset service provider (including a crypto-asset adviser, custodian, or exchange);
- an investment adviser, financial planner, or fund manager;
- a signals, tips, or "tipster" service; or
- a copy-trading or automated-trading service.
AQX does not:
- place, route, or execute trades for you;
- copy other people's trades;
- hold, receive, or manage your money or crypto-assets; or
- tell you what, when, or whether to buy or sell.
2.3 No advice
Nothing in AQX is investment, financial, trading, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial product or crypto-asset. This includes:
- charts, statistics, scores, and reports;
- alerts (these only fire on rules you set; AQX does not choose the rules for you);
- example setups and templates;
- blog posts, emails, videos, and social media content.
If you need advice, speak to a professional who is properly licensed in your country.
2.4 Example setups are educational only
AQX may show example setups such as "trend pullback", "breakout / retest", and "mean reversion". These are:
- general, educational illustrations of common trading concepts;
- templates you can copy and edit to describe your own rules; and
- not recommendations, signals, or forecasts, and not tailored to you, any market, or any instrument.
An example setup appearing in AQX does not mean it works, has worked, or suits you.
2.5 Trading risks
Trading forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), crypto-assets, and other leveraged or speculative products carries a high level of risk. In particular:
- You can lose money quickly. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. Depending on your broker or platform, you may lose more than your deposit.
- Prices can move sharply. Markets can gap, freeze, or become illiquid, and stop orders may not protect you.
- Crypto-assets are volatile and lightly protected. They may be hacked, delisted, or lose all value, and may not be covered by any deposit insurance or investor protection scheme.
- Past performance is not a guide to future results. This includes your own past results shown in AQX.
- Analytics are not predictions. Statistics describe what happened in the data you entered. They do not tell you what will happen next.
Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
2.6 Philippine regulatory warning
- The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has warned the public that retail forex trading, CFDs, and binary options are not products that can be registered for sale to the public in the Philippines, and has warned against unlicensed brokers and agents offering them.
- Crypto-asset services in the Philippines, including advising on and marketing crypto-assets, are subject to the SEC's rules for crypto-asset service providers.
- AQX does not offer, sell, or broker any of these products and does not refer, introduce, or recommend any broker, exchange, or platform.
- Before you open an account with any broker, exchange, or platform, check its licence status with the SEC (and, where relevant, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) and read any SEC advisories about it.
2.7 Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- your trading decisions and their results;
- choosing your broker, exchange, or platform and checking that it is licensed;
- making sure your trading is legal where you live; and
- any taxes on your trading.
2.8 Accuracy of data
AQX calculates results from the data you enter or import. Imports, price data, and calculations may contain errors, delays, or gaps. Always check important figures against your broker or exchange statements.
